How to crochet the crossed treble stitch!!




This stitch is really easy to make because you repeat only one row using double and treble crochet stitches.
You can use this stitch for shawls, wraps, scarfs and hat!

Materials:

This pattern works with multiple numbers of 4 stitches plus 1.
For this sample start with chain 17.

Row 1: yarn over twice, skip 4 chains, insert the hook into the 5th chain,* yarn over and pull through a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, yarn over once, skip 2 chains, insert the hook into the next chain, yarn over pull through a loop, (yarn over, pull through 2 loops) 4 times, chain 2, yarn over once, insert the hook into the bar and the loop above the hole, yarn over and pull through a loop, yarn over and complete 1 double crochet.* Yarn over twice, insert the hook into the next chain and repeat from * to * until 1 chain remains. 1 treble crochet into the last stitch.

Row 2: chain 4, turn, skip the 1st stitch, *yarn over twice and insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull through a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, yarn over once, skip 2 chains, insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over pull through a loop, (yarn over, pull through 2 loops) 4 times, chain 2, yarn over once, insert the hook into the bar and the loop above the hole, yarn over and pull through a loop, yarn over and complete 1 double crochet.* repeat from * to * until the end. 1 treble crochet on top of turning chain.

Repeat row 2 for the pattern.
